Born in the Bordeaux region (France) in 1971, Laurent Capmas became fond of photography at an early age. During a short experience at college, Laurent shoots his first sports photographs in 1990 with his father's camera (Canon AE1). The nineties will bring some "free lancing" work especially in the sports and surf area for many specialised magazines.
For many years, Laurent kept his daytime job and his passion separated. It's only in 2005 that Laurent decided to "risk it all" and became a professional photographer using mainly Digital.
